3 stages of stress adaption

A

1: Alarm= increased alertness and stim cardio and vascular responses, norepinephrine causes vasoconstriction, HR and RR increase and circulation decrease, fight or flight response; 2:Resistance Stage= body attempt to stave off effects of stress through hormone secretion, decrease HR and pupil size; 3:Exhaustion Stage, if stress doesn’t subside, exhaustion ensues
