clinical breast exam
thorough physical examination of the the breast by a health care professional to detect the changes or abnormalities that could indicate the early signs of breast cancer.
aerobic exercise
high-intensity, long-duration, and high-endurance exercise, believed to contribute to cardiovascular fitness and other positive health outcomes. ex: jogging, bicycling, running, and swimming.
accelerometer
an electromechanical device used to measure acceleration forces. forces can be static, such as gravity, or dynamic, such as movement from walking or physical activity.
obesity
excessive accumulation of body fat, believed to contribute to a variety of health disorders, including cardiovascular disease.
stress eating
eating in response to stress; approximately half the population increases eating in response to stress.
