Define intra-personal communication
It is a person’s internal discussion or self talk.
Define inter-personal communication
Talk between two people. Messages the receiver perceives from sender may be misinterpreted.
Most common in nursing.
Define Public communication
Communication to, within, or between large groups of people.
Teach or present about nursing/health care topics
Define Small group communication
Communication within a group of people to work towards a goal.
Define Referent
The incentive or motivation for the communication for two people
Define Sender
The person who initiates and transmits the message
