the press. It should act as a political watchdog and guard the rights of the citizen.

Mass media promotes the interests of the dominant class to maintain existing political systems.
Explain critical theory
media can be biased or self interested but generally provide multiple perspectives on issues and events.
What is UNESCO?
United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural organization. Each nation has a right to its own national culture or communication policy.
