AUP stands for what?
Acceptable use Policy(AUP). Defines what you can and can not do with company devices.
Password Poilcy
Defines such things like how often you have to change your password, how long and complex your password has to be.
PII stands for what?
Personally Identifiable Information(PII). Legally responsible for protecting personal information such SSN number, etc.
PHI stands for what?
Protected Health Information. Legally responsible for protecting personal health information.
GDPR stands for what?
EU General Data Protecting Regulation(GDPR) and foreign law. Specifics how and what data online organizations can get from visitors.
PCI DSS stands for what?
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard(PCI DSS). Responsible for protecting credit card information.
Change Management
Carefully maintained system to make changes to/upgrading technology that does not cause issues.
Change board.
Group of individuals who meet to approve or deny changes
Documented Business processes
Documentation explaining how the change will help and how much the change will cost.
Purpose of change
Is always going to be to improve productivity. Or possibly greater output.
Scope of the change
How the change will effect everything else.
