Narration
Symbolic actions- words and/or deeds- that have sequence & meaning for those who live, create, or interrupt them
Paradigm
A lens for people to look through
Rational world paradigm
Scientific or philosophic approach to knowledge-> assumes people can make decision based on evidence and lines of argument
Narrative paradigm
Theoretical framework that views narrative as the foundations for all human communication
Narrative rationality
A way to evaluate the value of stories, based on narrative coherence(ethos/logos) and fidelity(pathos)

Story hangs together
Narrative fidelity
The story strikes a responsive chord
Ideal audience
A people that value; truth, courage, the good, beauty, health, wisdom, justice, harmony, order, communion, friendship, and oneness eight the cosmos
