Heteroanamnesis
A
Patients can be unable to provide reliable information themselves, so a conversation with the informant can be a better way to gain information.

Whether a test result is considered abnormal depends on several considerations:

- Are the results reliable, valid and representative?
- What is the cut-off score and how does it compare to the normative data?
- Qualitative aspects.
- Score related to observations, complaints and demographics.
- Results relation to expected conditions.

Underperformance (on tests)
A
When a patients performance is lower compared to scores obtained with normal effort. There are 2 ways to investigate this:
1. Symptom validity tests
2. Multiple choice tests
