What are five components of fitness?
- Nutritional Guidance
- Flexible training/ Range of motion (ROM)
- Cardiovascular Training
- Resistance Training

What is a calorie?
Unit of energy
Define active stretching
No help from anyone or anything (Outside force).
Ex: Reaching arms overhead as far as you can control
Define passive stretching
To move a bone around an axis using external force.
Ex: Having a partner pull your arms overhead as far as they can
Define static stretching
The body is not continually moving.
Ex: Touch your toes and hold
Define ballistic stretching
Constantly be stretching
Ex: Touch your toes go down, come up and go back down
What is blood pressure?
Amount of pressure placed on the arterial walls during the pumping and filling phases
What is the formula for training heart rate?
(220xage)x % of resting heart rate
Define muscular endurance
Sub maximal force repeated over time
Define strength
Maximal force produced in a specific envirnoment
Define power
Work/time
What is your core?
