- building owner/manager must be informed about results of leak test
- leaking equipment must be targeted
- once contractor has informed owner the results, contractor has transferred responsibility to owner
- tags on leaky equipment cant be removed until refrigerant is repaired
- refrigerant may not be removed without permission fromm owner
- leaking equipment may be refilled only when there is an immediate threat to human life
