polychlorinated biphenyls are chlorinated organic compounds that are excellent electrical insulators that will not support combustion, and were used as insulation, heat transfer fluids and hydraulic fluids. have not been manufactured/ used since 1979
what must reports from large quantity generators to the NPRI contain?
- generators name, address, identification number
- calendar year covered by the report
- names, addresses, and identification numbers of the TSD facility
- transportation companies involved in the process
- description of the wastes and volumes generated -discussion of the generator’s waste minimization plan
