What is an organ
A group of tissue that works together for a specific purpose.
What does the skin do
Protects the body from damage and disease, regulates body temp and has 2 layers: EPIDERMIS, DERMIS
What is the Epidermis
Outer layer that protects the body from bateria and makes vitamin D
Made of E tissue
What is the Dermis
The inner layer that supports the body and has the blood vessles that regulates body temp
Made of C, M, and N tissue
What do the lungs do
Exchanges gas using the aveoili and the capilleries to oxegnate blood. and through the rise and fall of the diaphram
What does the heart do
Pumps blood to the lungs to be oxegenated then it pumps out to the rest of the body.

What does the mouth do in digestion
Breaks down food using teeth and the enzymes in the mouth
What does the esophogas do
Brings food down to the stomach
What does the stomach do
Grinds and breaks up food
What do the intestines do
absorbs nutriencwe from food.
What does the anus do
Excretes waste
What do roots do
Anchors the plant, stores food, grows

What do the leaves do
Responsible for photsynthesis
V and E tissue
What does the stem do
Transports nutirence up and down the cell.
