7
Q

How do the proteins made in the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum get out of the cell?

A

It is first made by the ribosomes, then a vesicle pinches off the RER and fuses with the Golgi apparatus, where the proteins are chemically modified. finally, it pinches off the Golgi apparatus and fuses with the cell surface membrane and deposits the proteins outside
