Abnormal narrowing of the smaller airways of the laws from conditions, such as allergies or pulmonary conditions
Bronchoconstriction
A passive process in which the intercoastal rear muscles and the diaphragm relax, causing the chest cavity to decrease in sides and force air from the lungs
Expiration another word, for it is exhalation
An active process in which the intercoastal rib muscles and the diaphragm contract, expanding the size of the chest cavity and causing air to flow into the lungs
Inspiration or inhalation
A form of noninvasive, positive pressure ventilation, consisting of a mask, and a means of blowing oxygen or air into the mask yo prevent airway collapse, or help alleviate difficulty breathing
Continuous positive airway pressure
