What is the priority of events in case of cardiac arrest?
C: Compressions
A: Airway (When ventilation fails (bag mask), try opening airway again. If that fails again, check airway for obstruction)
B: Breathing
Compressions to Breath Ratio
One Responder Adult: 30:2
Multi Responder Adult: 30:2
One Responder Child: 30:2
Multi Responder Child: 15:2
Rescue breathing Child: 1 every 2-3 secounds (20-30/min)
Rescue Breathing Adult: 1 every 5-6 seconds (10/min)
Children AED after 5 Cycles, Pads on Front (Right Shoulder - Sender) and Back (Left Torso - Reciever)
STOP CPR
S: Starts breathing and has a pulse (Pulse can come before breathing. Stop at pulse). For pediatrics, continue until higher than 60bpm.
T: Transfer to higher care
O: Out of Strength
P: Physician directs end
