Slander
is a grant of permission that is commonly provided in written form with signatures of all of the people involved.
Release
is owned by local, state, or national organizations, and generally includes parks, streets, and public sidewalks.

document gives notice to parents that from time-to-time orgahizations in or out of school may record students. If they don’t want this, they sign the document.
passive talent release
protect the creators of original materials from having their materials and creative work used without proper permission and compensation.
copyright laws
is a section of the Copyright Law that provides guidelines for the limited use of
copyrighted materials without obtaining permission from the copyright holder(s).
fair use
means a work (image or other material) is used for an entirely different purpose than it was originally created and intended to be used. For example, small portions of copyrighted music can be used in a review because the review is about the reviewer’s opinion of the music.
transformative use
protects a company’s brand identification, which represents
their products and services.
trademark laws
is a non-profit organization that provides various licenses and public domain tools that give copyright holders a free, simple, and standardized way to grant copyright permissions.
created commons
is the designation applied to material that is no longer copyrighted due to
the passage of time.
public domain
