Inferior/caudal
describes the back or direction toward the back of the body
Posterior/Dorsal
describes a position farther from the point of attachment or the trunk of the body
Distal
describes a position toward the body core (further inside)
Deep
describes the front or direction toward the front of the body
Anterior/ventral
The body is erect with feet slightly apart and palms facing forward with thumbs pointing away from the body.
