What we do
Strategies -
Prevention first - all people at the centre; deploy to beat demand, mindset, target the drivers of demand (alcohol, youth, whanau, road, OCG, mental health.)
Turning of the tide - achieving better outcomes.
Safer Journeys - speed, alcohol, restraints, distracted driving. Vision; a safe road system increasingly free of death and serious injury.
Wellness and safety - strong culture that prioritises and supports all staff throughout the org.
Targets - 5, 10, 25, 90, 500.

What is the aim of the deployment model
to ensure equal emphasis is given to dealing urgently with prolific and priority offenders, and to preventing responding to, investigating and resolving crime.
What does evidence based deployment mean
use tactics that have been proven to work, and we evaluate the results of our interventions to determine whether we achieved the desired outcome or need to refocus our efforts.
