- firms corporate image or culture created to attract and retain the type of employees the firm is seeking
- an organisation that people will want to work for cause its cool and interesting
What is a corporate culture?
a system of shared belief, values and habits that interacts with the formal struture of an organisation to produce behavioural norms
What is Human resource management?
Utilazation of individuals to achieve organizational pbjectives

Staffing
-organization insures that they have the proper number of employees with the appropriate skills int the right jobs at the right time to chieve organizational objectives
Human resource development
Major HRM function consisting of training and development and individual career planning and development activities, organization development and performance management and appraisal
Career development:
formal approah by the organisatin to ensure that people with the proper qualifications and experiences are available when needed

perform tasks in a wide variety of HR-related areas

May be a Human resource executive, manager or nonmanager who is typically concerned with only one of the functional areas of HRM
