A

The targets were not SMART.

The actions of others prevented the employee from being able to achieve the targets that had been set.

The employees was requested to undertake additional tasks after targets and priorities were set.

The line manager did not give the employee adequate support.

Why is it important for employees to remain calm and solution focuses when a change in circumstances necessitates to change in priorities?

A

Because If they don’t stay calm and focuses then they will get less work down and be even further behind.

A solution to the problem is by Eliminating time stealers, being assertive and saying no to additional work, calling on additional help from other employees, requesting overtime and extending the deadline to complete tasks/ achieve targets.
