are those factors that initiate, encourage and support the change. driving forces pressure or push an organisation to change
restricting forces
are those factors that work against a change in an organisation causing resistance within a workforce,
organisational change
refers to any alteration the organisation makes in regard to their internal or external environments. It is the adoption of a new idea or behaviour by an organisation which results in a difference or how the organisation operates.
change defintion
is the process of altering the existing organisation in some way or reestablishing it in a new modified form

. participative/ consultative management style
. a clear vision; able to plan ahead and put strategies in place ahead of time
types of restricting forces
.autocratic management; the use of an autocratic management style may mean that employees do not trust or understand the need for change
. poorly communicated vision; employees feel alienated from the organisation and do not feel appreciated. therefore are less likely to embrace change.
