Reading Laterally
- determine who is really behind the information you’re seeing,
- uncover the purpose or motivation behind the information (is it to sell you something, persuade you to support a cause, push political views, report the news, or entertain you?), and
- find out how credible the source of the information is.
Reading critically
Don’t simply accept any claim without good reason

- Determining the source
- Checking for previous use ( reverse image search)
- Being wary of the incredible ( too good to be true = sus)
- Look for incongruity ( no shadow of the object or more too many fingers etc (editing mistakes))
