ONE REP MAX
THE AMOUNT OF FORCE BEING EXERTED IN ONE REP
BODY COMPOSITION
body fatness, refers to the percentage of total body weight that is fat
BODY MASS INDEX
weight in kg/height in m2 =BMI higher values in this index mean higher fat volumes
CARDIORESPIRATORY ENDURANCE
a comparison of how much of the VO2 max is being taken into the body compared to the general public
DYNAMIC STRENGTH
the ability to apply force in a maximal or near maximal contraction measured in a 1RM
FLEXIBILITY
the ability to move the body ad its parts through a wide range of motion without stress. Muscle not high in flexibility has higher chance of strain
FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
fitness has been divided into two categories physical related such as flexibility and endurance and health related fitness for day to day function
HEALTH-RELATED FITNESS
address attributes that facilitate day-to-day function and health maintenance (ex muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, cardiorespitory endurance, and body composition) as well as health components as they relate to function or functional fitness.
ISOMETRIC STRENGTH
measured with dynameters, functional strength usually showed in a fixed state for example on a machine.
MOTOR FITNESS
capability of an athlete to perform effectively at their particular sport.
PHYSICAL FITNESS
a set of attributes or characteristics that people have or achieve that relates to the ability to perform physical activity.
POWER
COMBINATION OF STRENGTH AND SPEED.
