Aphasia
Total or partial loss of ability to use/understand language (parts of brain used for language is damaged)
Blindness
Absence of sight

Touch reading/writing system that uses raised dots for alphabet (first 10 letters also for 0-9)
Broca’s Aphasia/
expressive aphasia
Difficulty expressing thoughts through speech or writing (motor aphasia)
Cerumen
Earwax
Deafness
Hearing loss to where it’s impossible for person to understand speech with hearing
Global aphasia
Difficulty expressing and understanding language (mixed aphasia)
Hearing loss
Not being able to hear normal range of sounds
Low vision
Vision that can’t be corrected with glasses/contacts/surgery/drugs
(Interferes with everyday activities)
Receptive aphasia
Wernicke’s aphasia
Difficulty understanding language
Tinnitus
Ringing/hissing/buzzing in ears/head
Vertigo
Dizziness
