9th Amendment
This amendment is known as the Lame Duck (1933) – President takes office in January (not March)

Powers divided between three branches of government. Each branch has its own set of responsibilities.
Separation of Powers
This amendment put a restraint on Congressional salaries. Their raise does not kick in until after they have been reelected.
