• Nasotracheal usually preferred.
• Glycopyrrolate 0.005 mg/kg IV 10 before
• Sedation
• 5L min through scope. Watch stomach.
• Suck 1L of NS after using

Technique:

• 2 syringes w 2% lidocaine
• Use bite block made for bronchoscope.
• Lubricate inside and outside of tube.
• Vasoconstrict the nose.
