Preterm labour- contractions
Incompetent- painless cervical dilatation
When is a cervical cerclage usually put in?
Between 13 and 16 weeks.
What is considered preterm?
Before 37 weeks
Why should we assess the area just superior to the internal os with colour on every patient?
A vasa previa might be present (vessels crossing the internal os)
What is a vasa previa associated with?
A succenturiate placenta
