A

Acute and painful infection of the skin and subcutaneous tissue

Severe infalmmation of dermal and subcutaneous layers of skin

A

Old age, alcoholism, high BMI, pregnancy, insect bite, previous cellulitis

What treatment should be given for cellulitis?

A

Raised CRP

  • Rest, elevation, analgesia
  • Flucloxacillin (beta lactam drug)
  • Use NSAIDs
