It is the liquid within the cell that holds everything in place

Provides the energy the cell needs to move divide and produce secretory products
What does the vacuole do
Intracellular digestion and waste disposal
What does the cell wall do
It holds the plant cell together
What does the smooth er do
Produces hormones and lipids
What does the rough er do
Transports proteins
What does the ribosomes do
They’re the site of protein synthesis
What does the Golgi bodies do
Packages macromolecules for transport throughout cell
What do lysosomes do
Contain hydrolytic enzymes
What does the nucleus do
It controls the cell and holds the DNA responsible for the characteristics of that cell
