1&2 had more symptoms of depression and more suicidal ideation. This was in response in stressful life events, and those with strongest symptoms had 3+ events.

Inheriting gene does not necessarily mean that you will develop depression but the gene’s interaction with stressful life events increases likelihood of depression.
