Officers may conduct a search limited for weapons when they observe unusual conduct leading them to reasonably suspect criminal activity is afoot and the involved are armed

A dog snif conducted during a routine traffic stop that does not prolong the stop and only reveals the presence of an illegal substance does not violate the 4th Amendment
