A
Gives us heat and energy, fibre is vital for the movement of waste through the intestines and excess carbohydrates are stored as fat

How do we reduce our sugar intake
A
Sweeten food with healthy food e.g. porridge with fruit, check food labels for sugar intake, avoid sugary drinks and use artificial sweeteners
