Grow quickly. Crowd surrounding organelles but do not cause damage. Do not spread throughout body.

Grow quickly. Damage surrounding cells. Spread to different parts of body.

What is cancer
A
Disease where uncontrolled cell division happens and forms a clump of cells called a tumour

Causes of cancer
A
Errors in replacing cell DNA or exposure to harmful environmental factors (carcinogens)

Treatment of cancer
A
Surgical removal of tumour
Chemotherapy - drugs designed to kill fast growing cells
Radiation therapy - carefully aimed beams of radiation intended to damage/ destroy cancer cells
