A

If Tachometer Speed Sensors have failed and train can’t register that it is stationary. It is used to allow the following equipment to function:

Doors release
Uncouple button
Trip reset
Safety Loop reset (during train rescue)
- Speedo may also fail

A

Push Trailing Panto Control button

The trailing Panto will lower and push button will illuminate.

Button will return to Latched-OUT position

A

Cab is made active

Trip Switch placed to LOWER, then to RESET and released (goes back to lower)

This resets the Trip Cock Device
