Note: Use of あげる
When we “receive” a favour from someone
(sentence pattern)
て form + くれる
(someone does a favour for me)
In a くれる sentence, the receiver of the favour is almost always understood to be the speaker, so the receiver can be omitted.
私は母を手伝ってあげます。
母は私を手伝ってくれます。
I’ll help my mother
My mother will help me

つれる(take) て-form + いく
