By climat - land parcels ranked based on quality
33 Grand Crus named after the vineyards
More than 600 Premier Crus - that do not qualify as separate AOCs but fall under the appellation of the commune. They can include 1er Cru and the name of the vineyard name on the label.
Vineyards with no classification can include the name of the vineyard and the commune name on the label if the grapes came from the named vineyard.
