- the two girls in the mural are his friend’s daughters, whom he has used before as models for his murals
- on the other side you can see a french bulldog playing with the bubbles (you may notice they even have their own shadow!)
- comment on depth and tones
- rogue one likes to leave the background untouched in an intentional effort to connect his artwork with the city. it also places focus on the subjects of the mural, making them appear to ‘pop out’ of the mural and look vibrant in any weather.
- In an interview Rogue One commented that he decided to choose a bubble theme when he was given permission to fill both walls in Renfiew Lane. the mural captures the natural movement of the bubbles as they float upwards and away from the two girls.
