What is it?
A
abnormal destruction and widening of the broncii due to recurrent infection or inflammation
this leads to the airways being abnormally large
extra mucus tends to pool in the large airways
cilia are damaged affecting patients ability to rid lungs of dust
pooled mucus in therefore difficult to clear
due to inflammatory response when a person has an infection
inflammation destroys the elastic tissues of then lungs, make it harder for them to inflate and deflate

A
constant cough with a lot of mucus fatigue request chest infections SOB sinus problems anxiety wheezing nailbed clubbing chest pain

chest physiotherapy
antibiotics
smoking cessation
