Summary of Reading
Athena is in Olympus with Zeus and is concerned about Odysseus being lost at sea. She decides to help guide Odysseus back home. She disguises herself as the son of the veteran Ankhialos, Mentes as she lands in Ithaka. Athena catches the attention of Odysseus’s son, Telemakhos and tells him a way on helping his father find his way home. She orders what Telemkahos should/needs to do to bring his father back from sea.
