What is a bone landmark?
A landmark is a ridge, bump, groove or depression on the surface of the bone that serves as a guide to the locations of other body structures (eg. patella- tendon attaches patella to tibia)

Forehead

Top of the side of the head

Side of the head
Point to nasal bone
Nose
Point to zygomatic bone
Cheekbone
Point to maxilla
Between mouth and nose
