Q

Give a brief description of the formation of a geo

A
  1. Blow hole is formed
  2. Air and water forced through blow hole by breaking waves
  3. Causes large pressure changes in cave and further erosion
  4. Blow hole eventually collapses forming geo

Q

Give a brief description of the formation of a blowhole

A
  1. Sea cave is formed at base of cliff due to continuous erosion
  2. Sometimes, bear vertical joint is present at back of sea cave
  3. Wave reaches back of sea cave, hydraulic action takes place
  4. Finally, joint is widened into vertical funnel called blowhole when erosion extend to clifftop
