Q

Erythoblastocis

A

When baby in utero has Rh difference from mom, mom attacks baby in utero

(first baby not affected, since moms body is not ready. After first baby, moms immune system is prepared, can ID another Rh difference baby and attack it)

(rhogam prevents this, given after birth to inhibit development of antibodies)
