Anemia
decrease in red blood cells and/or hemoglobin that results in inability of the blood to carry sufficient oxygen
Leukemia
malignancy of the bone marrowcharacterized by massive production of white blood cells (leukocytes)
Hemophilia
an inherited bleeding disorder caused by lack of specific coagulation proteins
Lymphoma
malignancy of the lymphoid tissues cause by abnormal production of lymphocytes
Multiple myeloma
cancer caused by abnormal proliferation of plasma cells ( a kind of white blood cell that makes antibodies)
Disseminated intravascular coagulation
a condition in which small blood clots develop throughout the bloodstream, leading to depletion of platelets and clotting factors needed to control bleeding, thus, causing excessive bleeding.
