- 3 of the following (4 if irritability) for at least 1 week:

Distractability
Impulsivity
Grandiosity
Flight of ideas
Agitation (psychomotor)
Sleep
Talkativeness

2- Hypomanie episodes with insufficient symptoms and major depressive epi­sodes
