A
- Refusal to maintain normal weight
- Intense fear of gaining weight
- BMI < 17.5
- Disturbance of body image
- Absence of 3 consecutive menstrual cycles

- Recurrent episodes of binge eating (at least twice a week for 3 months)
- Normal or above normal BMI
- Sense of lack of control of eating during an episode

- Recurrent episodes of binge eating
- 3 or more of the following:
- eating more rapidly
- eating until feeling uncomfortably full
- eating large amounts when not hungry
- eating alone because of embarrassment
- feeling depressed or guilty after eating - At least 2 days a week for 6 months
