Is biology hard?
Yes it’s a lot to memorize
Are minions cool?
He’ll yeah!
The nervous system is responsible for
Perceptions behaviors, and memories. It initiatest all voluntary movement
Neurology deals with
Normal functioning and disorders of the nervous system
Peripheral Nervous system (PNS)
Consist of all nervous TISSUE Outside of the CNS.
CNS
Central nervous system consist of the brain and spinal cord.
CNS
Is also located in the skull and has 85 billion neurons
Spinal cord has
100 million neurons
Nerve is
A bundle of hundreds to thousands of axons plus associated connective tissue and blood vessels that lies outside the BRAIN AND SPINAL CORD
12 PAIRS OF CRANIAL NERVES
Emerge from the brain
31 PAIRS OF SPINAL NERVES
Emerge from the spinal cord
Ganglia
Are small masses or nervous tissue
Ganglia
Consisting primarily of neuron cell bodies
Ganglia
Located outside of the brain and spinal cord
Ganglia
Closely associated with cranial and spinal nerves
