Q

How to carry out this test (stages):

A
  1. First column (participant no.), second column (condition A), third column (condition B)
  2. Add a fourth column at the end (flow of direction). If hypothesis suggests condition A is more likely than Condition B, a YES in condition A is a +
    A NO in condition A is a -
Ignore doubles (if 2 out of 10 pps have doubles, you now have 8pps).

3.Find total of - signs and then total of + signs
(Smallest total out of -/+ is the observed value)
4. Find critical value (8pps and 0.05 level of significance)
5. If observed value > than critical
Results are not significant
ACCEPT NULL
