What is Article 1?
Article 1 is the portion of the constitution that outlines the powers of the Legislative Branch of the Federal government.
What is Article 2?
Article 2 is the article of the constitution that deals with the Executive Branch, including Presidential qualifications and impeachment proceedings.
What is Article 3?
Article 3 is the portion of the U.S. constitution that deals exclusively with the establishment and powers of the Judicial Branch of government.
What is the Executive Branch?
The Executive is the branch of government that is responsible for carrying out the laws.
What is the Legislative Branch?
The Legislative Branch is the branch of government that is responsible for carrying out the laws.
What is the Judicial Branch?
The Judicial Branch is the branch of government that is responsible for interpreting what the law means.
What is the Elastic Clause?
The Elastic Clause is a statement in the U.S. Constitution granting Congress the ability to make laws and/or address issues that are not specifically mentioned in the U.S. Constitution.
What is the Necessary and Proper Clause?
The Necessary and Proper Clause is a Constitutional clause that gives Congress the ability to make laws and/or address issues that are not specifically mentioned in the U.S. Constitution.
What is the Delegated Powers?
The Delegated Powers is powers specifically given to the government by the Constitution.
What is the Implied Powers?
Implied Powers are powers that are not expressed but that the government may be inferred to have from another power.
