What is the drug protocol for mild to moderate agitation?
A
Begin with 5mg IV/IM Versed. If pt. remains combative then 10 mg of Geodon 10 mg IM.

What is the drug protocol for severe agitation?
A
Administer Geodon 20 mg IM and 5 mg versed.

What must you do if pt. given chemical restraint?
A
Must be placed on oxygen, cardiac monitor, and pulse ox.
