Describe 3 sources of intentions in the Theory of planned behaviour
A
- attitude toward behaviour: degree to which it is valued positively or negatively
- subjective norm: perceived social pressure from within our social network.
- perceived behavioral control: efficacy - perceptions on ability to perform a behaviour

What is the Theory of planned behaviour
A
Intention or behavioral intentions are the most immediate determinant of behaviour

Describe each of the stages in the Transtheoretical model in the proposed sequential order with reference to exercise
A
- Pre-contemplation - attempting to contemplate change but isn’t strategic.
- Contemplation - aware of the pros to change but also have negatives. No intention to change in the near future.
- Preparation - active but not on a regular basis. Trying to change. Make action plans, goals, plans to overcome barriers.
- Action - active regularly. Early stage of involvement on daily basis
- Maintenance - active regularly for a long time and is adopted into life.
