Describe each of the stages in the Transtheoretical model in the proposed sequential order with reference to exercise

A
  1. Pre-contemplation - attempting to contemplate change but isn’t strategic.
  2. Contemplation - aware of the pros to change but also have negatives. No intention to change in the near future.
  3. Preparation - active but not on a regular basis. Trying to change. Make action plans, goals, plans to overcome barriers.
  4. Action - active regularly. Early stage of involvement on daily basis
  5. Maintenance - active regularly for a long time and is adopted into life.
