- unexplained bruises, bites, broken bones, black eyes

- shrinks at approach of adults
what are Mongolian Spots?
macular blue-gray pigmentation usually on sacral area of healthy infants; typically disappear spontaneously w/i 4 year but can persist
normal vs abnormal bruising areas
normal: knees, shins, elbows
abnormal: buttocks, back of thigh, back of calves
